Pizarro was the illiterate Spanish conquistador who conquered and looted the Inca nation.

He accomplished this around 1532 with ruthless tactics and force of as little as 200 men,

but the people there seemed to have little hostility towards him. He was also the founder

of Lima.

The mural recalls one of Pizarro's expeditions where he drew a line in the sand and challenged his men to stay with him during hard times in Panama.

13 of his crew chose to follow their leader. The non-followers are shown as naked cowards.

His coffin was on display just to the right of this mural.
